Costumer:  WSA Koblenz / WSA Heidelberg
Location:  Wieblingen am Neckar / Deutschland

Technical desciption:

The barrage Wieblingen of the year 1925 urgently requires extensive overhaul due to its high age for keeping the barrage operational and stable – and also the flood protection of the city Heidelberg in line with the natural circumstances – for the next decades. Therefore the complete hydraulic and control engineering is renewed and a reconstruction of the concrete surface is executed. The controlled stream flow of the Neckar can only be ensured through the secured operational capability of the barrage and it operates the ideal efficiency of the power plant at the barrage itself and in Schwabenheim.
